I know we all know that the Android OS running on most mobile phones is Linux (Android is Linux), that's not why I'm writing this post today. But I want to talk about something that has been missing in the Linux community.
The integration of our Android phone with Linux, I'm serious there are apps that will always work well on a mobile phone that on a desktop. But the majority of Application already running on mobile devices can be integrated into the desktop ecosystem.
This is what I mean, you already have good games that re built for Linux, make those games available on Linux Distros, Cloud based word editing Apps like evernote, make those also available on Linux. Photo editing applications like instogram, if they were available for Linux would have a big impact in both the following and choosing of Linux but as well as in the day to day use of Linux.
Even with this I still believe that the person who can make this possible is me, ordinary individuals, making an intuitive photo editing Application that can sync to social ecosystem on the web can and can be done by individual, we all don't have to wait upon Microsoft which is said to be the best software company, no!
Those are my thoughts in thinking about Linux today.
