Major things Linux still needs to work on

1. Their office documents (are not any better)

Here it seems like they’re not doing their best, As if we there consumers have said we are enough, this is a false impression Linux distro makers have wrong because though we may not know what we want. But we want progressive change we can smell when thing are not moving forward. And we know based on competition that it can be done better. So please Linux developers try harder.

The spreadsheet is non innovative with e formula thing. There are alternative ways of doing spreadsheets on a powerful way. And Linux can take advantage of its collaborate way of doing things to improve this.

Their presentation is dull and boring, its presentations, it should be interesting. It should be easy to add emotions to the presentation, with a large database of theses, either online or offline.
Word in no better.

Listen I’m not saying that things are non-functional, but things are not moving forward. It’s crazy. I don’t expect things should be this bad in this area.

2. Games

Yes there are games on Linux but no developing firm has come that takes game development seriously. Its the minimastic kind of games available at this point.

3. Touch, the availability of touch displays for laptops and net-books. This is requires especially for Distros like Fedora, Ubuntu and Xubuntu.

4. Installing software on Linux is Hard, period it can be made easier. I’m not saying install apps like other OS’s, I’m saying consistence, let there be 5 basic ways of installing software on the OS. Not a different way for every app. And one way of uninstalling - this is practical and easily doable.

When I think that I need to install some software I feel depressed, knowing that I’m going to struggle around the internet looking to see how other did it.

And I’m not suggesting that other OS application should run on Linux no ‘m talking about apps build for Linux. Come on.
