Thank you VLC on Linux

When a Linux distro comes with the vlc media player it’s just a relief. We thank the Video LAN in France for including their product vlc on most Linux distros now. VLC is so good it's really I really don't even wonder if there are any other medial players out there that are better.

Its really not worth wondering

Yes I know there is the Gnome player but I observed it struggling with playing my ICE AGE 4 DVD. It couldn’t load properly all the features of the DVD for one, that I couldn’t access additional features on my DVD.

VLC is one of the Applications making Linux successful in the desktop arena. It’s interesting what made windows successful and continues to make it commercially successful even today, its a single application that most companies needed so badly in the past __ that software Application was MS Office.

There are many other things that you can count to attest to the success of windows/ Microsoft such as well Photoshop (but how many people rally purchase that), games etc. But I think Microsoft really became successful when it acquired C#,  Visual basics, Codec rights, Early patents, early support for drivers (sound, video, A.I, graphics), Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates partnership. They won because they were 1st.

But what will give Linux a competitive advantage, what can Linux do that windows can't. There are driver.

Keep on Following this Blog and I will reveal just what Linux has to do to Beat Windows, in Both Market share on the desktop environment as well as Market Dominance.

  1. Linux is available on most OS's out there, it still does not ship with all the Operating Systems, never the less it's a significant number of them, such as Chakra Linux, Voyager Linux, Manjaro Linux
