I've been thinking about this, I will nologer install the updates for this ditro anytime soon. And the reason is simple I want to enjoy this disro as it is for as long as I can.
Some Applications I was thinking of installing but won't install anylonger, are the Sublime Text 2, and VIM. I'm into web design and I've decided that the Qt creator is sufficient for all my needs. The Primary reason is I will be able to pot ruby and ruby on rails in Qt.
I loved the way VIM and Sublime Text 2 look, but then I can configure Qt creator so that it looks similar to VIM {with the nice dark backround}, i love it.

Installing Blender, before the Big update
I've been meaning to install blender after the update, but I'm not really so much interested in the update, and I hope that it will be a bit less on the data side.
I have to get to work.
There are a couple of external renders that I want to look into.

There are a couple of external renders that I want to look into.
- Mitsuba {I love it its also available for blender and from their website it looks like I'll have the best time of my artistic life with this one}
- Luxrender {this i know is also available for Linux}
- Aqsis
- POV-Ray
Or maybe I will wait...
installing RecordMyDeskTop
In this installation I will us the Octopi file Manager and on it type recordMy... and RecordMyDeskoptp will show up, Right Click on it and you will see install
Because I am using KDE I'm assuming the Qt version of RecordMyDesktop will work best compared to the other.
To complete the installation I will click on yes to install both version 0.3.8-7, and 0.3.8.1-6.

Manjaro Linux pre-installed games
There are a number of
preinstalled games that come with Manjaro Linux Gnome, some of them
are the:
Tetris game, it's a bit sluggish when i
played it I'd still prefer playing the tetris in my Oh and its not
called tetris_but why.
Snake as well is there again it takes on
another name with and is not as quick as I'd like, but its fun, it
looks more creative than the original snake game of the mobile
devices, it looks as if it has been made for the desktop.
Making a game for the
desktop means that the developers have taken advantage of the PC's
computing power, not mobile devices power, it means there will be a
larger display, and multiple diversified input devices, such as your
mouse and the keyboard.
In that case I always seem
to expect more from the desktop Linux games, because I know that it
can't be so hard to do.
In that note we really don't
need nimes (the game nimes) who really plays that game any way.

Manjaro gnome has failed me
There ends my curiosity on Manjaro Linux Gnome 2014. It has been freezing on me several occasions when I used the internet rather, when I'm connected to the browser, until now and every-time it frozen I would force a shut down, and upon the reboot it would repair the hard-drive.
But today when I did the shut down after running Linux without shutting it down for Hours I forced a shut-down and it when it was repairing the Hard Disc Drive it didn't work and kept on saying I must boot using the sfck/dev/...which I have no idea what it means.
Let me say this it's not my loyalty to Linux that i need to explain to anyone why I'm using windows again for these few Hours. I am not a loyalist to windows or to Linux, But I'm loyal to productivity
Then Now I've used I've almost lost all my data again, but thanks to partitioning, I don't know what wrong with all these distros. Please let Manjaro KDE work. Because I was thinking Debian simple because of its stability. But Debian needs a lot of technical expertise especially in the installation of applications and that's where I stay away. I really don't want to use the terminal. I need something I can trust, I have a lot of development to do a lot of applications to build, and that can only be done in a stable environment.
I choose Linux because I have alternatives and now i;m moving to Manjaro Linux KDE. This is now where I will do most of development, I'm planning to use this distribution for months if they're stable enough for years.

Moving Forward.....
Now this is what I'm going to do. try Manjaro one more time. I have already used Manjaro XFCE last year and it crashed on me as I couldn't log on to the desktop. And while using it I want able to connect to the network/ internet and I lost all my data in that drive. Then Now I've used I've almost lost all my data again, but thanks to partitioning, I don't know what wrong with all these distros. Installing Sublime Text Editor on Linux
As always I went to the the pacman file manager and typed in "sublime".
Then the search windows pops up
why i really don't need a IDE in Ruby on Rails
So the installation of Sublime is ready and now I'am ready to start working

Web evelopment choice
I'm trying to figure out which web IDE to spend most of my time on. So I have been looking at website reviews to find out. I want to develop web applications because that's where we're all going in terms of development and most companies I've worked for are solemnly depended on the network. Internal or eternal.
So gaining more stealth in the development of web based applications is key, whether its designing a photo Editor or a media player the web is where its all happening.
So PHP is 1st, I have learned that it will be a lot of work to learn this 1st because its mostly designed for back-end and less so for Front end. because I'm starting of its better that I start with front-end so that I can see early what I'm working on looks like. I think its very important that I see early what I'm working on. The second language I'd have to mater for back end will probably be C++ or PHP.
And the reason I won't choose JavaScript which is the best programming language for web development, is because of the costs involved. Most development tools such as IntelliSense, Visual Studio which is strictly windows, come at a price, low prices, but I'm not in a position to be spending, I'm really just beginning. Oh wait I'm a Linux user. So I want everything free.
Then there is Eclipse which used to be good until the arrival of the commercial options such as well all of them: KOMODO, Sublime Text and WebStorm. using Eclipse which a large download is just a waist of time.
Netbeans is slow and will require a lot of work to link to CSS and HTML, and how will the web applications look No! Netbeans sucks.
Ruby on Rails
One thing I like about Ruby on Rails which is based on Ruby is that it looks like nothing I've ever used before, I mean Java looks like C++ which looks like C and Python, but Ruby is deference and I thing I'll find my breakthrough.
There is Sublime Text 2 which has a lot of promise, available for Linux, it looks really good on their website. Together with VIM they are recommended highly on the ruby-forum. And there are talks about a text editor vs IDE, and Firstly I won't be installing any IDE's just a text editor, so for starters I will install Sublime Text 2.
So I choose sublime text 2 which is new to me, so I'm very exited about the experiences I will go through.
